“Niccolò V” DOC Colli di Luni Rosso 2020 750 ml
Niccolò V demonstrates the qualitative value of the red grape varieties in the Colli di Luni expressed with complexity and evolutionary potential. This wine also speaks of the character of our territory: a meeting place, where different cultures and traditions merge, also from an oenological point of view. The blend of this wine is composed of Sangiovese, Merlot and Pollera Nera, a native vine mainly present in Lunigiana.

Niccolò V is a red wine obtained from a careful selection in the vineyard of three ancient vines that have always been cultivated in the Colli di Luni. The great qualitative potential of the grapes makes it possible to obtain a wine capable of facing a significant period of aging in wooden barrels and subsequently further aging in the bottle. The presence of the autochthonous Pollera Nera vine gives freshness and great character, the Sangiovese contributes by bringing structure, body and the right tannic note, while the Merlot is expressed through softness and fruit.

Vinification: 12 days on the skins, after racking, aging for 12 months in 20 hl or 30 hl oak barrels and subsequent 6 months bottle aging

Alcohol content: 13 % vol.
