Niccolò V is a red wine obtained from a careful selection in the vineyard of three ancient vines that have always been cultivated in the Colli di Luni. The great qualitative potential of the grapes makes it possible to obtain a wine capable of facing a significant period of aging in wooden barrels and subsequently further aging in the bottle. The presence of the autochthonous Pollera Nera vine gives freshness and great character, the Sangiovese contributes by bringing structure, body and the right tannic note, while the Merlot is expressed through softness and fruit. The nose is intense and harmonious, spicy notes of black pepper and cinnamon are perceived. In the mouth it is warm and of good persistence, while the sensations perceived on the nose are enriched with ripe fruit and undergrowth, the good minerality guarantees a long and dry finish.
