In the Ligurian hinterland, in the province of Imperia, at 700 m above sea level, where the landscape becomes almost mountainous, is Gazzo d'Arroscia, a small village with 50 inhabitants. Here the family business "La Baita & Galleano" continues the tradition started by the great-great-grandparents. Basil, the king of pesto, comes from our natural garden, grown in a completely organic way. And all the other ingredients also boast noble origins: locally produced extra virgin olive oil, Vessalico red garlic (Slow Food Presidium), mountain Parmigiano Reggiano cheese and Italian pine nuts.
